- I lead a variety of hikes at The North Carolina Arboretum. See the list of all the Arboretum's classes and hikes here.
- I teach botany classes as part of the Blue Ridge Naturalist and Blue Ridge Eco-Gardener certificate programs at The North Carolina Arboretum. Beginning Botany was offered in February. Look for a series of more in-depth botany classes continuing throughout the spring.
- Join me (and over a hundred other leaders ) for the 76th annual Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage in Great Smoky Mountains National Park April 22-25, 2026. Registration for the 175 hikes, classes, and other programs opened on March 1.
- May 17-22, 2026 I'll be leading nature hikes at Snowbird Mountain Lodge near Robbinsville, NC. I'll be back June 6-10 to lead hikes to see the synchronous fireflies. Quite the treat! Snowbird is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy all the beauty and adventure that WNC has to offer.
- Several of my photos are featured in Sight Psalms each month. Sight Psalms is a ministry of The Upper Room (part of Discipleship Ministries of the United Methodist Church). From their website you may sign up to receive a daily email with a photo and short devotional or you may simply view previous Sight Psalms.
